Chair Massage

Deep Tissue
This
technique is administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and
fascia. Aimed to release the deeper tissue structures in the
muscle
and connective tissue, focused attention is applied to reduce tension,
knots/adhesions. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements
and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will be more
intense and specific on taut bands of muscle fibers. This
promotes rehabilitation and aids in releasing muscle spasms. Your
therapist will work within your pleasure threshold, so feedback
throughout the session is encouraged for you to have an enjoyable
and restorative experience.

Hot Stone Massage
Using
elements of mother nature, smooth, basalt stones are warmed in
water at 120 to 150 degrees. These stones absorb and retain heat to
provide a deeply penetrating, relaxing form of , melting away the stress of everyday life. The heat helps
tight muscles release more quickly than in traditional massage. Heated
stones are used throughout the massage and are also placed in specific
areas to improve and balance the energy, blood and lymphatic system.
The stones elicit physical healing, mental relaxation and a spiritual
connection to earth energy.

itself. The receiver relaxes on the massage table fully clothed as the
practitioner places their skilled, soothing hands on or slightly above
